October 2008

Inspired by Tenealle Williams. Just love her elegance.

This card is for my gorgeous granddaughter. She was wearing a dress of these pinks and greens last weekend so I decided to use the colour combination for her birthday card.

I'm back!!! Have been rather preoccupied for the last few months but am now back into card making . Hopefully I'll get the hang of blogging soon, this is taking ages.
and I really must record the artists who inspire me so that I can give them credit for their wonderful layouts and colour combinations.

Beautiful. Ican't wait to have a go at copying your butterfly cards. I like your colour choices too, you've got a bit of everything on there now.

My attempt at a Kwernerdesign colour challenge.Colours - sahara sand, so saffron, wild wasabi and whisper white. I didn't have the ribbon that I needed so used my stamp pad to colour some white organdie. BEWARE it must be well dried before assembling the card or it will stain the cardstock! I know now from experience.

wanted something simple. I love the ancient asia stamp set.

Another very simple card . Using the torn paper technique.I found it easier to tie a very loose knot in the ribbon before threading the ends through a small hole punched into the flower. It took a few tries before I got the ribbon to the right length!
